Well, we are not what you might be expecting. It all got started with the Ladies of the Myst, a webring we are associated with. These ladies, adoring souls all, had an email group where some of the ladies chat the day and night away. After a few days, we began to notice that there were a handful of creatures of the night haunting this ring. Indeed, there were quite a few. With several messages back and forth and it was certain. There were vampyrie to be found hidden within this ring! Many messages were sent between the small group hiding within the larger one. After much deliberation, the Vampyrie emerged from the Myst as their own entity, the Vampyres of the Myst. Strong in numbers, we started our own ring and began to seek out others like us to further strengthen our ranks and to add merriment to our nightly revels beneath the silvery light of the moon . . . . We are the kindred, a group of friends who get together in twilight hours and celebrate our unity. We do not believe ourselves to be actual vampyres and do not actively participate in that lifestyle. We are just people of the night. Perhaps we should have chosen a different name for ourselves, but it kind of chose us, so we just ran with it. We used to have an email group where we all had great fun. Unfortunately, it is no more. Now we are simply a ring chock full of great dark themed sites. Want to know more?
